Meet Jonas
Jonas is one of our talented trainees at CK. In his daily life, he combines full-time work with his studies and participation in various courses. His everyday routine is a balance between school, work, and social activities.
From Financial Management graduate to accountant
Jonas’ path into the auditing profession began with his Financial Management degree, where his interest in financial management truly developed. With this education, he had several possible career paths to choose from, including becoming an accountant, bank advisor, property administrator, or real estate agent.
“In my final semester, I chose financial management with a focus on auditing. Afterwards, I was hired as a bookkeeper and consultant in a company, which really strengthened my interest in the field,” Jonas explains, adding: “I enjoyed the tasks as a bookkeeper, but the auditing path sounded even more exciting because it offered more opportunities for development. Now I’m well underway and can clearly feel that I’ve progressed — both professionally and personally.”
“At CK, there is a strong focus on ensuring that we have the flexibility to make everything work. We have good opportunities to plan and structure our workday, as long as we coordinate it with our trainee manager.”
The balance between work, studies, and free time
Combining a full-time job with studies naturally takes up a lot of everyday life, but at CK there is a strong focus on creating a good balance between work, education, and free time.
“At CK, there is a strong focus on giving us the flexibility to make everything fit together. We have great opportunities to plan and structure our workday, as long as we coordinate it with our trainee manager.”
Fortunately, Jonas is not alone in his busy everyday life. He is surrounded by dedicated colleagues in the department and the other trainees, creating a strong sense of community with support and collaboration. For him, the social camaraderie is one of the greatest advantages of being part of CK.
“There are Friday bars as well as sports activities like badminton and pétanque — and a fun summer party. A lot of effort is put into creating a great social community. I could already feel that when I went on the intro trip with the other trainees when I first started at CK.”
