An ambitious accountant with momentum - both in his career and on the bike
Kamilla is approaching her one-year anniversary at Christensen Kjærulff, but her experience as an accountant spans more than a decade. From her very first day, she quickly felt at home at CK and today greatly appreciates the social culture and the strong sense of community.
Every day, Kamilla cycles 20 km to and from the office—always with the motto: “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.” Her high level of energy is reflected not only in her active lifestyle, but also in her productive and structured approach to work.
“I have never felt that my job as an accountant has been an obstacle to a good family life.”
As a mother of two school-aged children, Kamilla knows all about juggling her work as an accountant with the busy pace of family life – illness, sports activities, and all the unexpected things that come with it. Fortunately, she experiences strong support from her manager and feels that CK trusts her ability to prioritize.
“I have never felt that my job as an accountant has been an obstacle to a good family life,” Kamilla explains, emphasizing how important it is “to have flexibility in everyday life, so I can plan my work tasks in a way that allows my job to harmonize with my family life.”
When Kamilla is not working or cycling through the city, she enjoys spending time in nature with her children. As a former scout, overnight shelter trips and outdoor excursions are a regular part of family life.
“Being out in nature gives me energy and creates great shared experiences with my children,” says Kamilla. “It’s a big contrast to my work as an accountant, but it helps give me a good balance in my everyday life.”
