Meet Lars Hvidt Benneborg
An accountant with clear priorities
Lars is a state-authorized public accountant and joined Christensen Kjærulff in 2015, where he immediately began pursuing the Master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing. Lars believes that the combination of theory and practice is one of the most exciting aspects of the program:
“Training to become an accountant is very close to real life, because you constantly get the opportunity to apply in practice what you learn in the classroom. The downside of this combination, however, is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming.”
Lars adds that the management at Christensen Kjærulff is mindful of ensuring that each employee can maintain their personal priorities outside of work.
However, that is not the only good thing about working at Christensen Kjærulff, Lars points out, adding:
“At Christensen Kjærulff, there are also plenty of opportunities for professional development. There is a high degree of freedom with responsibility, and you get the chance to work on many exciting tasks if you have the interest and the courage to take them on.”

From exciting tasks to winding country roads
When Lars is not at the office or visiting clients, you will often find him on the winding country roads around Zealand. Since childhood, Lars has been fascinated by riding on two wheels, and he is now the owner of his sixth motorcycle:
“Riding my motorcycle makes me happy. I can’t really explain what it is about it, but it’s just really great.”
Whether the best thing about riding a motorcycle is the time spent with friends or the feeling of freedom is hard for Lars to say. One thing is certain, however: it is something that makes Lars truly happy and helps him meet his colleagues and clients with great energy and a smile on his face.
