A dedicated accountant with a passion for both numbers and running
Lars has worked as an accountant since 2005 and has been part of Christensen Kjærulff since 2008. This year, he celebrates his 20th anniversary as an accountant. Over nearly two decades, he has not only built strong and long-lasting client relationships but has also played a central role in the social community among his colleagues at CK.
Known for his positive approach and his ability to build trusting relationships, Lars has always focused on delivering solutions that create clarity and peace of mind for his clients. “The best part of my job is without a doubt the relationships,” he says. “Helping people with something that can seem overwhelming and seeing them gain peace of mind-that’s what drives me.” This client-oriented approach has made Lars a highly valued accountant, both internally and externally.
“It gives me time to think, find peace, and stay physically and mentally strong.”
But Lars is much more than his title.
Outside of work, he laces up his running shoes and heads out on long runs several times a week. With around 200 marathons behind him, his achievements are a testament to an impressive level of determination.
“Running is my way of unwinding,” he explains. “It gives me time to think, find peace, and stay physically and mentally strong.”
For Lars, it has always been essential to have a workplace that provides the right conditions to balance both career and personal ambitions. “Throughout my career, I’ve adjusted the pace up and down,” he explains, referring to the time when he became the father of twins – a life-changing event that naturally required him to scale back his career ambitions for a period.
Nevertheless, Lars has continued his impressive pace, both professionally and on the running trails, where he has achieved strong results and completed numerous marathons along the way.
