Meet Line
A curious mind that loves systems and structure
Line is one of our dedicated accountants who balances full-time work at the office with her studies every day. She is currently in her second year of the Master’s program in Accounting and Auditing (cand.merc.aud.) at CBS.
Accountants can quickly gain a reputation for being dry, computer-focused number crunchers. However, that stereotype quickly disappears once you meet Line. With her curious mind, humorous personality, and colorful suits, she embraces the structure and systematic approach that the accounting profession brings to her everyday life. Line thrives on the details and the precision that working with auditing requires.
“I love putting things into systems – or rather, it gives me an absolutely great sense of completeness when the working papers all come together,” Line explains, adding: “That’s definitely also why I thrive so well as an accountant.”
With her many interests and talents, Line could easily have chosen a different path in life, but her passion for working with numbers and gaining insight through them led her to the industry.
However, it is not only the structure that keeps her motivated. “By nature, I’m very social and love building new relationships. In my job, I get the opportunity to immerse myself in my work while also building strong connections with our clients,” says Line, adding that she looks forward to a future where she can take on a more advisory role.
Line brings a great deal of energy to CK. She is a lively personality whose good mood and big smile have a positive impact on her colleagues. Even though she is still relatively new to the firm, she is already popular among clients.

Taekwondo and community
When the workday ends, Line swaps the office chair for activities that strengthen both body and community. She has always been very active in sports, and that has not changed since becoming an accountant.
Taekwondo is a discipline she has practiced and taught for many years, and she has earned a black belt. For Line, taekwondo is not only about physical strength, but also about discipline, respect, and being part of a community.
“It’s important for me to feel that I’m developing, and I love throwing myself into new disciplines both at work and in sports.”
Before choosing the path of becoming an accountant, Line completed her military service during her gap year. She describes it as a time filled with many valuable experiences that she has carried with her ever since.
“It gave me some of the best friends I have today, and it’s an invaluable community,” says Line, adding that those perspectives can also be applied to auditing, where there can be demanding periods—but where it is equally important to have strong people to rely on.
Line appreciates the sense of community at CK, and it is important to her that everyone feels included and comfortable in their daily work:
“Because that’s important-for all of us.”
