Meet Magnus
Magnus is one of our talented trainees at CK. In his daily life, he balances a full-time job with his studies and various courses, which requires both structure and dedication.
He lives in Copenhagen with his two roommates, and when he is not at the office or attending classes, you can usually find him at the gym doing strength training or at the stadium watching a good football match.
A steep learning curve with room for sparring
Magnus has always known that his career would move in the direction of finance. However, it was only after a couple of years in the sales industry that he made the final decision to pursue a career in auditing. As a trainee at CK, Magnus has experienced a steep learning curve, but he sees it as an exciting challenge.
“The professional level is high, and some tasks are more demanding than others. At times, it can be a little frustrating for someone who wants to be able to do everything right away, but at the same time it’s incredibly motivating. It’s about analyzing issues from different angles, and if I get stuck, there is always help available – both from colleagues and other trainees,” he explains.
With an open office environment and a culture where knowledge sharing and sparring are a natural part of everyday work, Magnus feels well equipped to grow and develop in his role.
“There is a high level of trust that we plan our own time, as long as we meet deadlines and deliver results.”
One of the things Magnus appreciates most about his work at CK is the freedom to structure his own workday. “There is a high level of trust that we plan our own time, as long as we meet deadlines and deliver results,” he says.
This structured approach has not only had a positive impact on his work, but also on his everyday life. “I’ve never been as organized as I am now. Today, I use my calendar for everything, and it gives me a clear overview. It makes it easier for me to prioritize both my work tasks and my free time,” Magnus explains.
